Half Marathon
Mike ran the half marathon with his brother Matthew and his wife Jen. Michaela and Abigail ran the KidsK (a mile). It was a perfect day to be outside.
This is Jen in the pink, we were watching for her and didn't see her until she was passing (sorry Jen). She did awesome and even beat the boys by 15 minutes!

Field trip to the Zoo
I went on a field trip with Roscoe's class to the zoo, this is what it looked like when we got there. It was so cold and snowy, but we still had fun.

Randomness
This is what it looks like when you tell a four year old that they can wear whatever they want. Mike was excited that she picked the Laker's jersey.
This is Roscoe after Mike pulled his loose tooth out. They tied a string to the tooth, and the other end of the string to a door, you can figure the rest out. Roscoe was sad because he really wanted to tie the other end of the string to Mr. Bean (my mom's cat).

Laguna Beach
After finishing up at the temple we all went down to the beach for a picnic. It was a little cool so we decided that we wouldn't let the kids get in the ocean, they could only get their feet wet. . .
that didn't last long, about two minutes after we walked down to the water Abby tripped while trying to run away from an incoming wave.
Here are some more pictures from the beach.

Newport Beach Temple
We were so excited to be invited to go to the temple with Jessica, Shane, and their family. It was such a great experience going to the temple to see Serenity (their adopted daughter) sealed to Jessica and Shane, especially since I almost didn't get to go in. I forgot my temple recommend in my temple bag, luckily they got a hold of my bishop and let me in.

From Winter to Summer
The other day we woke up to about 8 inches of snow, a few days later we drove to California to visit my sister and her family and we were in the pool.
We had such a great time even though it was a short trip. We left on Thursday, stayed overnight in St. George, and got to Jessica's house on Friday.
The pool was pretty chilly but I did jump in it with the kids. I spent the rest of the time in the hot tub after that.

Michaela Choir
This is from the Christmas Choir performance. Michaela sang "Pablo the Reindeer" with a small group of friends. She is such a great singer and loves to perform.
