Candy For Dinner

Inspired by the book Little Pea by Amy Rothensburg (I think), we had our second installment of candy for dinner. I made sushi, hamburgers, and corn on the cob. Then for dessert we had pizza (the real thing). It was a lot of fun, and the kids said it tasted good.

Dinner

Sushi: rice krispie treats and gummy worms wrapped in fruit rollup

Corn on the Cob: green fruit rollups, frosting, and reese's pieces

Hamburgers: cupcakes, tootsie rolls, coconut, green licorice, frosting, and strawberry syrup

Happy Birthday Roscoe

For the past few months Roscoe has been asking if I will throw him a "surprise" birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. We had a lot of fun, and Roscoe ended up with 1500 tickets that he used to get a telescope! He only won about 10 of those himself, thanks to Robert, Zack, Shaunna, Elizabeth, Mike, Michaela, and Abby who all donated their tickets to Roscoe for his birthday!

Hill Aerospace Museum

Thursday we went to the Hill Aerospace Museum. The kids love to play in the education center.

RAGNAR

Mike missed the family reunion because he was racing in the Wasatch Back Ragnar. The course actually ran along the other side of the freeway from where we were camping. One of Mike's legs wasn't far so we all went to watch him complete his last leg of the race.

Ludlow Family Olympics

Shaunna organized a Ludlow Family Olympics. It was a lot of fun and included lots of fun events for everyone to participate in.

Swim Lessons

The kids all took swim lessons this summer. The small kids were close, but Michaela and Abby were too far away so the pictures didn't turn out for them.
