ER!

Saturday night we were at the play place when Roscoe ran into another kid on the slide and bit his tongue. It was bleeding bad and looked really deep so we decided to take him to the urgent care. When we got there they were closed, so we drove all the way to Ogden to take him to the after hours clinic there, the doctor there looked at it and said that he didn't have any experience stitching tongues and said we needed to take him to the ER. The third time really wasn't the charm, at the ER the doctor said we needed to take him to section where they can sedate people. After waiting there for awhile the doctor said it was bad enough that they would put stitches in it but that tongues heal pretty good so we could decide if we wanted him to get stitches or not. We opted to not (less trauma). Roscoe keeps asking if he can go back to see the doctor "because they have TVs in the rooms!"
The doctor said his tongue should heal in about 3 weeks without the stitches, his tongue will just be a little sore.

Lagoon

On Saturday we went to Lagoon and meet up with some old friends, the Schrubs. It was so hot! It was forcasted to be 102 degrees in Salt Lake City, but with the black top and all the rides I am sure it was hotter at the park. We ended up only staying for a couple of hours and left after lunch.

Wiberg Picinic

On the 24th we went to Great grandpa's with the farm without the farm (Grandpa Wiberg) for a picnic. Grandpa's siblings were in town so everyone got together. There were a lot of people that I didn't know, but we had fun.

Zoo

On Monday the 21st we went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Ludlow, Elizabeth, Great Grandma Ludlow, Laurel, and Jim and Cathy and their kids. We had so much fun. Our zoo passes were about to expire, so this was a good chance for us to go one last time.

#4 Birthday Boy

Roscoe had a great birthday last week. All the family that lives near by came to have cake and ice cream. He loved all his presents and was so excited every time he opened one. He loved opening the cards and would shout "MONEY!!" every time there was some in there. My mom and Zack were both thinking alike when they bought Roscoe's presents, they ended up giving him the exact same gift, and he loves and plays with both of them.

Eyebrows!

A couple of weeks ago Michaela thought that she would try something new, she wanted to shape her eyebrows, like her mom. The only difference is that I don't shape mine with the Bic razor. I think the picture is self explanatory!

Super Prize!

A few days after my last post Roscoe did get his super prize Optimus Prime. He is doing so good going potty during the day. We are so proud of him.

Big Boy!

Roscoe (or should I say mommy) has been working very hard trying to remember to go potty on the toilet like a big boy. He not only has a potty chart that he gets to put stickers on when he goes potty, but he is working towards getting his super prize (an Optimus Prime Transformer). We also had a deal that if he could go all day without having any accidents he could call grandma on the phone. So Sunday night he got to call grandma! He wore his big boy underwear all day long (even at church) and didn't have one accident! We are all very proud, and he is looking forward to getting his super prize in the next day or two.

SLC

Saturday we rode the Frontrunner train down to the Gateway Mall in SLC. We started out at the planetarium, the kids could have watched the ball maze (I'm not sure what it is really called) for hours! After getting some lunch we went to Discovery Gateway (the children's museum). It was so much fun we had to pull (literally) the kids away from some of the areas. The grown ups even got to have some fun. Since we bought a six month pass our kids are looking forward to going back down to play soon.
We also got icecream cones and let the kids run through the fountain in the plaza. Hopefully we didn't scare Matt and Jen too much by showing them what it is like taking your kids places!
That night we went to a BBQ by Anne's (Cheryl's daughter) church, she had a huge slip 'n slide out for the kids and they had a great time.

The Fourth of July

Friday we had a very long and eventful day. We drove down to Thanksgiving Point and went to the Museum of Ancient Life. It was the first time we had been there and it was very cool. They had all kinds of really cool models and lots of fun areas where the kids could play and have fun.
On the drive home from the museum we stopped by IKEA for lunch and to look around. It was pretty crazy with the eight kids, but it was still fun.
That night we went to Papa's house for a BBQ and fireworks! It really was an eventful day that went out with a bang!

Family Fun

We just had a very fun weekend. Mike's sister Becky and her family, and his brother Matthew and his wife, came down for the Fourth. Thursday we threw a baby shower for Jen (Matt's wife), she is due in August. They are having a girl and are planning on naming her Kaiya.
