Easter Egg Hunt

This is the first year that I have done an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids (usually I just do baskets with the stuff already in it). It was a lot of fun!

Michaela, just being cute.
Abby really liked this Hannah Montana book
Roscoe, he is a little OCD, he would not pick up any egg that was not blue like his basket.
Paula, this is one of the only pictures I have that she does not have a face full of candy. She kept eating the candy as she would find the eggs. She has a mouthful of candy in this one, but at least you can't see it.

Potato Head Family

Potato Head's are one of the kids favorite toys to play with, and one day they wanted to build "our potato family".

Queen Mommy, Princess Paula, Princess Abby, Princess Michaela, Prince Roscoe, and King Daddy
I just loved the smile in this one.

Idaho Falls

Over conference weekend we took a day trip up Ben and Erin's house for an early Easter get together. We all had so much fun and can't wait until Memorial day weekend for the "Smith Family Reunion".

I just loved this picture of Roscoe and Paula.
Michaela and her trampoline hair.
All the kids ready for the Easter egg hunt.
Papa and the grand kids.
Erin, Me, Becky, Jen, and Kaiya.
Papa, Ben, Mike, Matt, and Harold (I didn't get a picture of under the trampoline, but I am sure you can imagine!)

April Fools!

They had talked about playing jokes and April Fools at preschool so when Roscoe got home he kept saying random stuff and then "April Fools!". I talked him into climbing into the top shelf in the hall closet and told him to be quiet and I would tell Daddy to get something for me out of the closet. Roscoe was so excited he could not stop laughing! When Mike opened the door he yelled "April Fool" and then he didn't want to get down.

Sleeping Roscoe

Roscoe is the strangest little kid, he will tell you he is tired and he will just go get into bed. The other night we went to town and didn't get home until late (9 pm). He was so tired that he had fallen asleep in the car. Mike took him to the top of the stairs and told him to go to the bathroom and then get in bed. Somehow he got sidetrack and ended up in my closet.

More pictures of him, he fell asleep while he was reading a book.

Moab

March 28th
Mike went on his first mountain biking trip with a bunch of guys from the ward. It was suppose to be a young mens trip, but it ended up being all the leaders and no boys!
They went to Slick Rock in Moab. Mike had such a great time, and he even made it home alive.

The View
Mike on the trail. (if you look close you can see white paint on the rock, that is the trail)
Another trail picture
All the guys taking a break.

Super Heros

Roscoe loves anything super hero, so today while we were playing with these block things we decided to make super hero masks.

Roscoe, Mom, and Paula

Daddy

Robert, the Eagle Scout

Last Saturday we watch Robert and one of his good friends get their Eagle awards. We are so proud of him and all his hard work!

Congratulations Robert! Mom pinning on his Eagle award
They had a live eagle presentation that was really neat, the kids really liked it.

This is the Eagle's Nest, that's one crowded nest!

This is Robert as an Eagle Scout. His neckerchief slide is a buffalo skull that the Mormon Battalion gives to Eagle Scouts.

Michaela's Stories

Michaela has been writing stories for a while, and Mike suggested that she start a blog to post them for everyone to read. She has been very excited to start her own blog so check it out.

Snowstorms and Snowmen

With the new winter snow Mike and the girls decided to build a snowman when we got home today.

Ludlow Family Outing

Since everyone had the day off we got everyone together and took a day trip out to Hardware Ranch. We had so much fun. We packed a picnic lunch and went on the sleigh ride.

Sneaky P

These are just some random pictures of Paula (aka Sneaky P).
She snuck Mike's phone away from him and was trying to send a text
She snuck into the toys after she was suppose to be in bed.

Just a cute picture

New Years Day

On New Years Day we went sledding at Mt. Ogden Golf Course. This is one of our favorite sledding spots.
Roscoe and Serenity, sliding down on their backsides.

Tea Party

Paula used her birthday money to buy tea set/play food set. The day that she got it her daddy helped her set up this tea party for her dolls and stuffed animals. Roscoe wanted to help too.

New Years Eve

Mike's brothers came down to visit for New Years Eve, so we decided to take the train downtown and go to Temple Square. It was open later for the holiday, but there was hardly anyone there.

We caught the 11:45 train back and got to see fireworks on the ride.

Christmas Break

For Christmas all the kids got aprons and cookie mixes from Grandma and Grandpa Ludlow. Roscoe was so excited and loved licking the beater.

Valentines Date

Friday night Mike and Roscoe took me and the girls out for Valentines day. We went to IHOP and had a fun dinner. Roscoe was excited to go to "the pancake store", since pancakes are one of his favorite things to eat. Whenever we have them at home he eats as much as everyone else together.
